Pile Bus Stop

Pile bus stop is probably the most popular bus stop in the town due to the fact that all local buses (except one – No 7) stops here as this is located in the near vicinity of the main entrance to the Dubrovnik’s Old Town (see the bus map)

There are three areas at Pile to wait for a bus – one on the South side of the square and other two at the North bit. The South side bus stop area serves buses 1, 1a, 1b, 1c, 2, 2a, 3 and 9.

Buses no 5 and no 8 are served from a small traffic island at the middle of the square, while the rest of buses (no 4 and no 6) are served from the North bit of the stop.

Bus schedules and timetables are clearly displayed at the each waiting area (see below photos)  so it is pretty easy to work out how and when to travel.

You can buy your bus ticket from the driver (try to have exact money if possible – see below announcement) or from the  kiosk in the near vicinity.
