Ancona to Dubrovnik by ferry

    We will be arriving in Ancona from Rome at about 11.15am and would like to carry on further across to Dubrovnik if possible.

    We would like to catch the overnight ferry from Ancona as our accommodation in Dubrovnik is already booked for the following day.

    Does anyone know if there are any ferry sailing from Ancona in the afternoon or evening? Any other ideas are welcome and apreciated.

    Hi Mirella,
    there is no direct ferry from Ancona to Dubrovnik, you would have to take the overnight ferry from Ancona to Split and either take:

    Here is a guide for that journey. If you have booked accommodation perhaps you can change the date of your arrival to the following day?

    Check also option Ancona to Bari by bus or train and then overnight ferry to Dubrovnik. Thay may be good option if you dates of travel match. From Bari you will be in Dubrovnik following day which seems that suit you.

    If you did not buy your ticket yet, get one from Rome to Bari instead. I guess you are traveling by bus.
